Q.
What should I expect during the application process?
A.
Trainee Business Managers – As we want to be sure that we're absolutely right for each other, you'll go through a four-step selection process. The first stage is the initial screening process; this is to ensure that you meet our basic criteria. If you meet these, you will be asked to complete the next stage, an online personality questionnaire. This will ensure that you have the right attributes for McDonald's and that the McDonald's environment is suited to your preferred style of working.

Your next step will be the restaurant based 'On Job Evaluation' or OJE. Here you'll do the job for real for a day and discover what it's really like working in a McDonald's restaurant.

The final step of the selection process is an interview with an Operations Manager, who will review everything you've seen and done so far. By this time you'll have met our people, seen how we do business and even served a few customers!

Crew Member – To make sure we're right for each other, we've designed a two-step application process. The first phase starts right here in the form of an online questionnaire during the application, which will take on average 30 minutes to complete. If successful, you'll be invited to a restaurant for an On Job Evaluation (OJE) and Interview with one of our Business Managers.

Q.
What type of shifts will I be doing?
A.
Our restaurants are open over a variety of hours, some even 24 hours a day. As an example, a breakfast shift could start at 4am. However, we do ensure that shifts are scheduled according to your needs and the needs of the business.
