Career Development

Trainee Business Managers

Genuinely, the speed at which you progress is down to you. We’ll give you the knowledge, skills and confidence. Apply determination, hard work and ambition, and you could make Business Manager within just two to three years. Following that, there’s nothing to stop your career path leading right to the top. After all, over half of the Executive team started in our restaurants and we actively encourage promotion from within.

But before we get carried away, let’s talk first steps: an intensive 18-week Management Development Programme (MDP) as a Trainee Business Manager. Here you’ll be given a thorough grounding in our business and all the commercial skills you need to thrive and develop into an effective Second Assistant Manager.

Proving yourself at every step, you can then progress on to become a First Assistant Manager, through to Business Manager and beyond. In time you could become an Operations Consultant – others might call this an Area Manager – where your expertise will make all the difference to an entire network of restaurants.
